Support Worker - Learning Difficulties

Support Worker needed to support an individual in their own environment in Whitney. You as the Support Worker will be supporting the individual with their daily tasks such as cooking and shopping. The ideal Support Worker will also actively take part in activities that they enjoy and will be a car driver.

Location: Witney, Oxford

Salary: £9.00 - £12.00 hourly depending on payment method

Shifts: 08:00 - 18:00
18:00 - 22:00
22:00 - 08:00 sleep in

Responsibilities for you as the Support Worker:

  • Assisting with daily tasks, such as cooking, shopping and going out, doing activities together
  • Listening to any worries and queries that may arise
  • Forming a trusting relationship with the individual
  • Cleaning and tidying where needed

Requirements for you as the Support Worker:

  • Full, clean Driving License
  • Relevant experience supporting vulnerable individuals with learning difficulties and mental health issues
  • Being available and flexible
  • Excellent listening skills and emotive attitude
