A national, not-for-profit organisation, are looking for a enthusiastic Support Worker to join their service that supports adults with complex needs.

This is a adult social care service that supports people with learning difficulties and complex needs which encourages independence and enjoyment of day to day life.

You'll be joining a supported living service, in which you'll be assisting adults with everyday activities such a shopping and personal care. It's a fantastic opportunity to work for a highly established national organisation, where you'll have full training, support and clear career progression.

Your roles & responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be required to:

  • Delivering a high standard of care
  • Encourage and support people who use the services to express their views and needs
  • Always promoting the views and needs of the service user
  • Complete and maintain up to date records
  • Supporting and encouraging life skills and the independence of the service users
  • Support the service users with personal care and health needs as required
  • Build positive relationships with the service users, colleagues, and families
  • To support the service user by following the principles of Person Centred Active Support


  • NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • 6 months experience working in a similar setting
  • Full UK drivers license (preferable)
