A renowned and respected supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and autism requires reliable and caring Support Workers. The role is based in Hampshire, and you'll be supporting adults within supported housing and the community.


My client has been supporting adults with learning disabilities for over 20 years and have built a reputation for promoting independence and enabling the service users to live a fulfilling life.


We are looking for experienced social care Support Workers who are passionate about working with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, who can support and promote independence whilst passionately promoting the company's ethos.

Role/Responsibilities


As Support Worker, you will be required to:

  • Deliver a high standard of care, including personal care
  • Assisting in daily activities, including shopping and making life choices
  • Encourage and support people who use the services to express their views and needs
  • Always promote the views and needs of the service user
  • Complete and maintain up to date records
  • Support and encourage life skills and the independence of the service users


Requirements

A Support Worker will have:

  • NVQ Level 2/Care Certificate or be willing to work towards
  • Experience working with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs is preferable
  • Social Care experience working within a CQC regulated service
  • Driving license and own vehicle
