A leading national charity, that supports adults with learning difficulties is looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join their team, based in South Oxfordshire.

You will be providing excellent care to adults with learning difficulties, complex needs and autism in a supported living setting. You will be vital in promoting a Person Centred standard of care to the service users.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent care to the service users
  • Keeping accurate and up to date records
  • Supporting the service users with personal care and health needs as required
  • Building positive relationships with the service users, colleagues, and families
  • To support the service user by following the principles of Person Centred Active Support
  • Assisting and encouraging the service users to participate in everyday home, social, leisure and work activities

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK drivers licence
  • Must be flexible to work all hours, including evenings and weekends, and undertake sleep in duties or waking nights
  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • Experience working with adult with learning difficulties, autism or complex needs
