Exciting opportunity for experienced Support Workers in children's homes to join an innovative and influential children's home provider for their new 4 bed crisis intervention home in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria.

The home is registered for 4 beds currently with a view to expand to 6, split into a 3-bed residential property and 3 outreach services and supports vulnerable young people of both genders.

The Support Worker role is a full-time position on average 42 hours per week on a condensed shift rota. Full shift pattern to be discussed on application.

Benefits for your as the Support Worker:

  • Salary up to £17,378 (DOE)
  • Additional sleep in payments of £7,500 per annum (£63 per sleep approx. 10 per month)
  • Working rota released 6 months in advance
  • NVQ and additional qualifications funded

Your responsibilities as Support Worker:

  • Carry out all practices in line with Ofsted, safeguarding and company procedures
  • Deliver high quality care and support to young people considering their individual needs and desires
  • Report directly to the Registered and Deputy Managers
  • Undertake all additional qualifications and training

Requirements of the Support Worker:

  • NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare (or be willing to undertake)
  • Previous experience working young people in residential homes, semi-independent or SEN schools
  • Flexibility to work the shift pattern
