Support Worker required to work with a national care provider for therapeutic education for young people. To work in a 8-bed children's home located in Botley, Oxfordshire. The home is mixed gender and age ranged from 7-17. The ideal candidate will be resilient and come from a background of working with children with EBD.

I am needing a Waking Night member of staff to work 4 night's per week on a Temporary to Permeant contract. As a support worker you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work well on your own and as part of a team.


Waking Nights: 9pm-9am

Your responsibilities as the Support Worker:

  • Dealing with emergencies in the night
  • Provide support when and where it is needed within our semi-independent services
  • Following protocol at all times
  • Dealing with challenging behaviour
  • To maintain cleanliness of the premises
  • To keep thorough, confidential and up to date young people records for effective and efficient working
  • To ensure that regular opportunities are given for young people to feedback on the service and for consultation and to ensure that this information is used to improve the service

Requirements of you as the Support Worker:

  • NVQ level 3 or above desirable
  • Team Teach desirable
  • Enhanced child and adult DBS
  • Car Driver desirable
  • Have good communication skills, and good written and spoken English

Location: Botley, Oxfordshire

Salary: £10:00 - £12.00 per hour
