Support Workers - Reading/Berkshire

£8 - £9.50 per hour

Our client, a small young person's residential home in Reading requires several support workers on a daily/ nightly basis to support young individuals with Educational Behavioural Difficulties . We are looking for resilient, encouraging, compassionate support workers who have excellent communication skills. Not one day is the same in this role, so as a support worker you need to be adaptive, patient and open to working alone or with a team.

Shift Patterns - Monday- Sunday

Daily Hours 8am - 3pm / 3pm -10pm

Waking Nights - 9.30pm - 7.30am

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience as a Care / Support Worker
  • Experience working with young people
  • Experience / Understanding of challenging behaviour

Desirable Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • Car Driver
