Are you tired of demanding shift patterns? Are you fed up of working nights and sleep ins? Do you want a Monday to Friday 9-5 role without leaving the Social Care sector? We have your next role!

I am representing a progressive charity which supports both adults and children with Autism in Cranleigh. They focus on developing life skills and independence through the use of cutting-edge Social Care approaches such as ABA and PBS.

We are looking for Support Workers, Care Assistants and Psychology Graduates to join this forward-thinking team in their specialist, state of the art day centre for adults with Autism. You will be advocates of the charity's values, ensuring the service users are living with as much independence as possible and building on their life skills. These service users are inspiring individuals and you will play a huge part in improving their skill-set, helping them to lead fulfilling lives.

You will work Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, given full training on specialist topics including Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA), PROACT-SCIPr and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). There is a guaranteed salary increase on completion of probation and a further increase on completion of your training.

The full list of benefits for Support Workers is:

  • Starting salary of £15,900 rising to £17,000 upon completion of your 3-month probation and further increase to £18,500 once you have finished all your training certificates.
  • Monday to Friday working only.
  • Excellent training and development opportunities including QCF in Health and Social Care, PROACT-SCIPr UK and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Competency Certificates.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Clear career progression path.
  • Abundance of discount schemes including private healthcare and Ride to Work.
  • 10% discount at on-site café.

To qualify for this opportunity, all you need is:

  • Passion for working with adults with Autism.
  • Some experience of working with vulnerable people in any setting.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle, due to location.
