My client is looking for an experienced Support Worker who is passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviour.

This organisation has been supporting adults with learning disabilities and Autism for over 13 years and have built a reputation for promoting independence and enabling the service users to live a fulfilling life.

This Outstanding rated service for adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and Autism is based in Basingstoke and you'll be supporting adults within secure residential environment.

As Support Worker, you will be working the following shifts on a two week rolling rota:

Day Shift: 07:45 to 20:00. Every Wednesday is split-shift:07:45 to 15:00, or 13:00 to 20:00. The role of daytime staff requires occasional sleep-ins.

As Support Worker, you will assist in the development of adults with Learning Disabilities & Autism by facilitating decision making, promoting independence and building lasting relationships. This role does also include personal care.

Requirements of you as the Support Worker:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards
  • Experience working with learning disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviour is essential
  • Driving license and own vehicle

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire

Salary: up to £21,000 per annum
