Working Day Support Worker required for a Supported Living Service supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities. The Day support worker will be working with adults between the ages of 19-30 with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy. The ideal support worker will have relevant experience with such individuals and have excellent written and spoken English.

Location: Alford Near Guildford

Salary: £9.00 - £11 depending on shift type, payment type and qualifications

Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday : 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities for you as the Support Worker:

  • Supporting service users with daily tasks whilst promoting independence
  • Regular checks throughout the day
  • Working closely with service users, staff, families and other relevant professionals
  • Following service user care plans
  • Light cleaning tasks

Requirements for you as the Support Worker:

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience working in a supported living environment
  • Experience working with autism, learning disabilities and epilepsy
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Encouraging and supportive attitude
