Exciting opportunity for experienced Care Assistants, Carer's or Support Workers to join a fantastic charity who provide care to adults with learning disabilities in a supported living environment based in Gloucestershire and Bristol.

The Support Worker role is a full-time position, on a 40 hour a week contract with two days off in a row guaranteed. This role includes day shifts up until 10pm with no shift lasting longer than 10 hours, no sleep-in shifts required. On top of this, you will receive 6 weeks paid annual leave.

Your responsibilities as Support Worker:

  • Work with vulnerable adults alongside person centred care plans taking into account each person's individual needs physically, emotionally and spiritually
  • Carry out your practices in accordance to CQC regulations and safeguarding legislation
  • Report to the Deputy and Registered Manager
  • Create positive relationships with residents, families, the local community and external agencies

Requirements of the Support Worker:

  • NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care
  • Experience working within a social care setting
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults
  • Driving License and vehicle due to location

Salary : £8.00 - £8.50 per hour (£17,000 - £18,000 per annum)
