Job description
Support Worker
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to deliver children's services.
You will be required to support children and young people between the ages of 16-25.
Our client based in Stroud is a leaving care provision that supports children and young people move onto independence helping them live in a safe and peaceful environment.

Shift Patterns for Support Worker:
Monday - Sunday on a rota basis including night shifts.
Waking night shifts: 19:30 - 07:30 including 3 nights on and 3 nights off repeating twice.
Day shifts: 07:30 - 19:30 including 3 days on and 3 days off repeating twice.
Requirements for Support Worker:
- Full UK driver's (Desirable) be able to travel to Stroud
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent required.
- Willingness to undergo further appropriate training courses.
- All successful candidates will be subjected to an enhanced vetting process which will include a DBS check, Right to Work check and reference checks.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities for Support Worker:
- Adhering to and producing effective risk assessments to meet a young person's individual needs and risk characteristics.
- Facilitate the initial induction of young people into Trevone House at point of arrival ensuring a welcoming and inclusive attitude.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture to meet and maintain company and external accreditation.
- Create and maintain links with housing associations and housing providers in order to create opportunities for young people to transition into their own residence's standards.

Pay Rate
- £11.00 PAYE to £15.22 Umbrella depending on shift type
Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Location is a 14-minute walk to the nearest Gloucester train station with regular bus links.
