I am working with an organisation that supports adult's with autism within a Residential setting. Our client has 10 services in the Hampshire area. The organisation serves to help their residents to develop life skills, cope with daily challenges and get involved in their community.


The Support Coordinators will report to the Registered Manager and they will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of a person-centred care plan. This will include monitoring the quality of care and ensuring that all regulatory standards are met.
The duties of the role will include:

  • Promoting the use of PROACT-SCIPr-UK
  • Assess the individual needs of service users, develop and implement a person-centred care plan.
  • Developing individual activity schedules for service users that outline the learning objectives.
  • Attend clinical support meetings with clinical psychologists
  • Ensure the overall compliance of the service ensuring the company's policies and procedures are being met by the home staff team.
  • Preparing documentation ahead of CQC inspections.
  • Carrying out on-call duties, as required.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Psychology or an NVQ Level 3/ABA qualification
  • Experience working in a learning disability environment
  • Experience of working with people who exhibit challenging behaviour
  • Experience of developing, implementing and reviewing individual support plans
  • Good understanding of CQC requirements and regulations
  • Full, clean driver's licence
