Supervising Social Worker Part Time Devon

A salary of up to £33,000 pro rata + Terrific Benefits

An ambitious Independent Fostering Agency require a Supervising Social Worker to join their dedicated fostering team where there is a great chance to build brighter futures for children.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to be fully committed to the role and organisation as well as excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

  • Salary of up to £33,000 Pro Rata
  • Mileage paid at 0.45 ppm

You will be involved in:

  • Providing support and supervision to the foster carers according to the company's requirements
  • Supporting the organisation in ensuring that the service is run in line with the Government Legislation, Regulations and Standards, together with the Inspecting Body.
  • Provide training to foster carers
  • Produce reports, attend group meetings and annual reviews

You will have:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • At least two years' experience within relevant fostering social care or child care work
  • An excellent knowledge and understanding of the current legislations and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care, Fostering and Adoption including the Children's Act 1989 and its application to Social Work practice.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle to travel to other areas
