Supervising Social Worker - West Midlands - Maternity Cover

A highly reputable fostering agency in the West Midlands (UK regional offices) require a supervising social worker to join their dynamic fostering team to cover Maternity Leave.

You will need to be committed, experienced and driven to succeed in this role and you will be covering the West Midlands area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, training, assessing and supporting Foster Carers
  • Providing safe placements for foster children and young people
  • Working with and building relationships with placing authorities
  • Supervise the work of foster carers

Requirements:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (DipSW/CQSW/BSc)
  • A valid HCPC registration
  • Experience of working with Children and Families in a Social Work background
  • Experience of working within fostering (desirable)
  • An extensive working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks regarding Children Social Work, Fostering and Adoption
  • A full, clean driving licence
