We are looking for a passionate, hardworking Social Worker to join a Local Authority in Northwest England as a Supervising Social Worker.

Role as a Social Worker:

• Competitive pay rate of £35.00 per hour

• Attending adoption events
• Assist with recruitment activity and screening of potential applicant carers.
• Support and supervise Fostering households.
• Assist with retention of carers supporting the sufficiency strategy in keeping children placed locally.
• ensure that the fostered child feels secure and is thriving and verifying that the carer meets the fostering service's requirements.

To be considered for this Social Work position, you must have.

• Valid Social Work England Registration

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with AYSE year completed
