Social Worker - OPPD Team

Cambridgeshire County Council are looking for a Social Worker to join their Older People, Physical Disabilities (OPPD) Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have recent experience in a Locality or Community environment. The key to success in this role is to treat every case individually to create the best possible outcomes.

Your responsibilities as an OPPD Social Worker:

• Work with series users over the age of 65
• Implement care plans and conduct care packages that promote service user independence as much as is appropriate
• Undertake Mental Capacity Act assessments
• Complete Care Act Assessments and Safeguarding assessments
• Liaise with other services within the council for the best intertest of the service user
• Attend regular meetings within the team

Requirements of you as an OPPD Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Community work
• A valid UK driving licence and vehicle

Location: Cambridgeshire

Umbrella pay rate: up to £35.00 per hour
