One of the UK's largest Charitable Organisations focusing on the protection of children are looking for an experienced Social Worker on a Locum basis.

As a Social Worker within the Hertfordshire area, you will be working within the local community in order to raise awareness in the practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in order to prevent these harmful practises occurring. You will also be working directly with "at risk" children and their families in order be proactive in the prevention of this happening.

Working within the community you will be working throughout the whole Hertfordshire area, which is easily accessed via the M25, M1/A1 and A10.

What are the Social Work requirements?

  • HCPC registration
  • Car driver with own vehicle

What sets you apart from the crowd?

  • Previous experience in the prevention of harmful practices such as FGM and CSE
  • Over 2 years post qualifying Social Work experience
  • Strong independent decision-making skills and legislation knowledge
  • Strong court experience
  • Ability to make sure a team can work to given timeframes
