Luton is currently looking for an experienced Locum Social Worker to join their Family Safeguarding Team on a part time basis

Luton were awarded £2.5 million to implement the 'Family Safeguarding Model' which was a proven success in Hertfordshire's Children Social Services. This Multi - Disciplinary Team utilises a more therapeutic approach by working with the whole family. Having recently celebrated the success of the first year, it is a great opportunity to join a well-resourced team who have been given extra funding in order to overstaff.

With multiple localities throughout the area, you would be able to commute easily via the M1 and A1.

What are the requirements?

  • 2 Years Post Qualifying experience
  • HCPC registration

What sets you apart from the crowd?

  • 3+ years' experience as a Social Worker within Front Line Children's services
  • Strong skills in Court work including report writing and attending hearings
  • Experience with the "Toxic Trio"
  • Experience of being part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team
  • Car driver with your own vehicle
