Hampshire County Council have recently adopted a new Social Work structure within their Children's Social Services. As such, they are looking for experienced Social Workers, Senior Social Workers and Managers within the new Teams.

The new Children's Assessment and Safeguarding Team (CAST) integrates the initial assessment and Children in Need Teams together, meaning that you would be able to provide consistency and support for the families and children you would be working with, from initial assessment through to point of resolution. This innovative model would be a great fit for people who like direct family working and would involve long term case holding, and who like to see first hand the positive outcome of your hard work for the families you have been working with.

Hampshire is an extremely large area with multiple offices spread throughout the area, meaning there will be an office based close by to yourself which would be easily commutable.

What are the Social Work requirements?

  • 2 years post qualifying experience
  • HCPC registration
  • Car driver with own vehicle
