Social Worker - Adoption

A Local Authority in Hampshire, with a 'good' OFSTED rating, are looking for a Social Worker to join their Adoption team, offering a fantastic pay of £42 per hour. The ideal Social Worker will need to have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying in Adoption. The office is based in Swanwick but the majority of work is at home or on visits.

This is a locum Social Work role.

Your responsibilities as an Adoption Social Worker:

• Update Child Permanence reports.
• Work closely with Family Finder for matching.
• Support the child with transitional work to prepare them for Adoption.
• Undertake court work in relation to the Adoption order being made.

Requirements of you as an Adoption Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration.
• Minimum 3 years post qualification and Adoption experience.
