A Shift Leader role is now available working with a leading care provider based in Rugby. You will be working in a 7-bed children's residential home with young people who have emotional behaviour disorders aged between 8-18.

As the Shift Leader, you will be required to shift lead, write written reports and contribute during conferences and meetings. You will be required to be fully-flexible by committing to sleep-in's, working weekends and long shifts. For your hard work, you will be rewarded by receiving an attendance bonus, generous salary and having 34 days annual leave.

Responsibilities of the Shift Leader include:

  • Be responsible for preparing work rotas
  • Be present and take part in care planning, meetings and Annual Multi-disciplinary reviews
  • The ability to write written reports, contribute to conferences and reviews
  • To deputise for the Deputy Manager in their absence

Requirements of the Shift Leader include:

  • Must have experience working in a residential setting with children and young people with challenging behaviours
  • Experience leading shifts and report writing
  • Be committed to sleep-in's, weekends and long days
  • Hold a clean UK driving license
  • Have an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Children and Young People's Workforce *essential
