Service Manager wanted for a fantastic new young adults with learning disabilities transitions support service based in Bridport. Salary and bonus on offer.

My client is a national provider of care and education services for adults with learning disabilities, autism and communication restrictions.

The service is specifically for six young adults with autism and learning disabilities is for young adults aged 18-25 to support them to transition into independent living. This is a brand new service where the Service Manager will have full autonomy to build the care delivery, ethos and support team.

The Service Manager's main responsibilities are to

  • Manage day to day running of a transitions supported living service
  • Ensure all CQC regulations and health and social care legislative requirements are met
  • Line manage a team including Deputy Manager, Senior's and Support Workers
  • Safeguard all resident's always
  • Provide person centred care plans focusing on the individuals physical, mental and emotional wellbeing is primary outcome
  • Promote and market the service
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, families and the local community

The Service Manager must have

  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management / NVQ Level 4 / Registered Manager's Award
  • Proven experience managing a CQC registered Supported Living service
  • Staff management and development experienceÂ
  • Experience of working with people with autism and/or learning disabilities
