Experienced senior manager required to join my client as the Service Manager covering a portfolio of specialist children's homes in the North West paying circa £60,000.

My client, a leading provider of specialist therapeutic care for young people, are seeking an experienced senior manager to join them as a Service Manager overseeing a number of children's homes covering Lancashire.

This role will include managing Registered Home Managers and a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring all homes hit minimum Ofsted inspection rating of 'Good', reviewing and overseeing all therapeutic practices to make sure they are relevant and person centred, managing and working within allocated budgets and to financial targets.

The Service Manager must have

  • Management Qualification (QCF Level 5, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent)
  • Proven track record managing multiple residential children's homes
  • Experience managing Registered Manager's and senior members of staff
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Ofsted and positive track record of delivering 'Good' or 'Outstanding' inspection ratings
  • Evidenced background in working to large budgets and meeting financial targets
  • Prior experience as a Regional Manager, Operations Manager, Head of Service or equivalent in residential children's homes
