Established children's services provider are opening a new home in Worthing and are seeking Senior Support Worker paying circa £24,000.

The Senior Support Worker will be a senior member of the staff team leading a shift of support workers and supporting the Registered and Deputy Manager. The Senior Support Worker will also be influential in promoting independence and safeguarding the residents whilst ensuring the home delivers the very best care and best practice.

The Team Leader post is paying circa £24,000 (dependent on experience plus an additional £3500 on top for sleep ins).
The role also offers further progression including promotions and qualifications.

The successful candidate will need


NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People or Residential Childcare
Extensive experience within residential children's homes
Over 12 months' team leader or senior support worker experience in children's homes
Flexibility to work on a varying rota including days, evenings, sleep ins and weekends
Knowledge of working within Ofsted regulations
Driving License
