A Senior Support Worker role is available working in a Supported Living Service with adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health concerns and complex needs. The service is rated "good" across multiple services and you will be working in and around the Lowestoft area.

Requirements of the Senior Support Worker role include:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (essential)
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour and complex needs
  • Strong experience working at Senior Support Worker level (essential)
  • Driving license, manual (essential)
  • Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
  • Commitment to workings weekends, sleep-in's, early shifts and late shifts

Responsibilities of the Senior Support Worker include:

  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Coaching and introducing new staff to the service
  • Updating care plans and risk assessments
  • Working under CQC requirements and the companies guidelines
  • Writing daily reports and working closely with the Service Manager

Role: Senior Support Worker

Position: Full-time and permanent

Salary: £9.50 per hour
