Norfolk County Council are currently looking for experienced Locum Senior Social Workers to join their Family Assessment and Safeguarding Project.

The role would be working with families from initial Assessment to Children in Need / Child Protection plans, meaning you can provide consistency and support to the Child throughout on a long-term basis.

With multiple offices located throughout the area, there are roles in Great Yarmouth, Norwich and Kings Lynn there will be plenty of opportunities to secure a position close by. You would need to be a car driver, however there are easy routes around the area using the A11, A47 and other main A roads in the area.

What are the requirements?

  • 2 Years Post Qualifying experience
  • HCPC registration
  • Car driver with own vehicle

  • Previous experience working in a "Locality" style team dealing with cases from assessment through to resolution
  • Strong Safeguarding experience
  • Ability to prioritise and organise your own caseload
