Job description
Luton Borough Council is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Looked After Children Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.
The ideal Social Worker will have extensive experience in a Looked After Children environment whilst being able to provide guidance to others. The main objective of this role is to aid in the support and performance of those within the team.

Your responsibilities as a Looked After Children Senior Practitioner:
- Aid in the management of the team
- Work well with other teams such as the Child Protection and Fostering teams
- To ensure a high level of practice is carried through the team consistently
- Provide advice and guidance to those in the team when necessary
Requirements of you as a Looked After Children Senior Practitioner:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
- A valid Social Work England registration
- Have extensive knowledge and experience of Looked After Children work
- A valid UK driving licence and car is preferred for this role
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Umbrella pay rate: £38.00 - £40.00 per hour
