A North London based Local Authority is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Family Assessment Centre. As the Senior Practitioner, you will be the internal resource for conducting of all court directed parenting capacity assessments and delivering on specialist Parenting programmes.
As the ideal Senior Practitioner will have Leadership and Family Assessment experience. Whilst this is a busy team in a developing local authority, there is an extensive benefits list and incredible training and development opportunities.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Practitioner:
- Manage Complex cases
- Progress children's plans in accordance with current local protocols
- Taking the lead on bespoke pieces of work
- Support the Team Manager in the running of the team
Requirements of you as the Senior Practitioner:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
- A valid registration with Social Work England
- Experience of undertaking specialist PAM's assessment
- Significant experience of working within Family Assessment Teams
- Experience of working within Child Protection
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Location: North London
Salary: Up to £47,000
