Senior Practitioner - Children's Safeguarding Team

Achieving For Children is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Children's Safeguarding Team. This is a Locum Social Work role based in Kingston.

The ideal Senior Practitioner will have extensive experience in Safeguarding and be able to make effective decisions concerning the futures of children and young people. Your role is vital as you will need to be competent enough in your work to provide advice to others in the team.

Your responsibilities as a Safeguarding Senior Practitioner:

• Manage a complex caseload
• Take part in court proceedings
• Constant monitoring and reviewing of cases
• Work with other agencies and Social Work Professionals to create the best possible outcomes for children and young people involved in cases
• Be able to provide guidance to others in the team when necessary

Requirements of you as a Safeguarding Senior Practitioner:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Frontline work at this level

Location: Kingston, London

Umbrella pay rate: up to £42.00 per hour
