A Residential Support Worker (Care Practitioner) role is now available working with a leading care provider based in Rugby. You will be working in a 7-bed children's residential home with young people who have emotional behaviour disorders aged between 8-18.

You will be assisting the young people with their everyday routine, providing support at all times and helping them to develop. You will be required to be fully-flexible by committing to sleep-in's, working weekends and long shifts. For your hard work, you will be rewarded by receiving an attendance bonus, generous salary and having 34 days annual leave.

Responsibilities of the Residential Support Worker include:

  • Follow the companies values and work under Ofsted regulations
  • Assist young people with their emotional needs at all times
  • Act as an appropriate role model
  • Assist the children escorting them to school, activities and shopping trips

Requirements of the Residential Support Worker include:

  • Experience working in a children's residential setting
  • Experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours
  • Be committed to sleep-in's, weekends and long days
  • Hold a clean UK driving license
  • Have an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Children and Young People's Workforce
