My client prides themselves on providing exceptional child-centred care to vulnerable and often neglected young people resulting in behavioural and emotional difficulties.

The Residential Children's Support Worker's responsibilities include

  • Participating in the day to day operation of the service
  • Acting as a positive role model and enabling young people to reach their potential
  • Monitoring and reviewing the young person's care plans, behaviour management and education
  • To undertake any other duties required by management

The Residential Children's Support Worker must have

  • NVQ Level 3 Caring for Children and Young People/ Residential Child Care or equivalent
  • 6 months minimum experience working within a childcare setting
  • Flexibility to work varied shift-patterns including weekends, evenings and sleep-ins
  • The passion to help those with mild learning difficulties, challenging behaviour and emotional trauma
