I am working on behalf of a national charity which supports adults in the community, delivering life-enhancing support to people with various range of care needs, including learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex needs.

My client requires a Service Manager/Registered Manager to oversee three supported living services which support 14 individuals with varying care needs. Due to the complex health needs of the service users supported across the service, a Learning Disability Nurse qualification is essential though you do not need an active PIN.

As the Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for the effective 24-hour management of the supported living services by leading and mentoring a staff team of 30 and communicating with internal and external professionals. You will ensure that all aspects of the support and care delivery is person centred and be committed to the continuous improvement and development of all the services.

Requirements of you as the Registered Service Manager:

  • Learning Disability Nurse qualification
  • Effective leadership and communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong CQC knowledge

Salary: up to £30,000
