New supported living service in Bridport, Dorset for young adults aged 18-25 with learning disabilities and autism requires an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Manager. Great salary, bonus scheme and employer.

My client is a national provider of care and education services for adults with learning disabilities, autism and communication restrictions.

The service is specifically for six young adults with autism and learning disabilities in a supported living environment and we are seeking a dynamic Registered Manager to lead the service and team effectively.

The Registered Manager's main responsibilities are to

  • Registered with CQC as Registered Manager
  • Ensure all CQC regulations and health and social care legislative requirements are met
  • Line manage a team including Deputy Manager, Senior's and Support Workers
  • Safeguard all resident's always
  • Provide person centred care plans focusing on the individuals physical, mental and emotional wellbeing is primary outcome
  • Promote and market the service
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, families and the local community

The Registered Manager must have

  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management / NVQ Level 4 / Registered Manager's Award
  • Proven experience as a CQC Registered Manager in a supported living service
  • Staff management and development experience
  • Experience of working with people with autism and/or learning disabilities
