Registered Manager required for a brand new children's home opening in West Yorkshire with national care provider. Industry leading remuneration on offer!

As Registered Manager, you are offered:

  • Salary up to £45,000

The Registered Manager's responsibilities are to:

  • Oversee the day to day running of a 7 bed residential home for young people with EBD, attachment disorder and challenging behaviour
  • Pass the Fit Persons Interview to become Ofsted Registered Manager
  • Line manage a team of qualified support workers, senior's and a Deputy Manager
  • Ensure the home runs in compliance to Ofsted, children's home and safeguarding legislation
  • Ensure all young people's physical, emotional and mental wellbeing is at the forefront of all care plans


In order to be considered for this role, you will have

  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management / Registered Manager's Award / NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care
  • Prior experience as Ofsted Registered Manager of a children's home
  • Strong working knowledge of vulnerable young people, Ofsted regulations and safeguarding regulations
  • Thorough understanding of young people with attachment disorder, challenging behaviours and EBD
