Exciting new post available for a Registered Manager to join a rapidly expanding independent care provider of supported living and residential homes for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health.

You, as Registered Manager, will be registered to the organisation's first residential home based in Scarborough.

On offer with this Registered Manager role is

  • Salary up to £34,000 dependent on experience
  • Opportunities to multisite manage this residential home and any further residential or supported living services
  • Opportunity to be the first Registered Manager in this residential home, setting the benchmark across the whole organisation

The Registered Manager's main responsibilities are to

  • Register the home with CQC and become the Registered Manager
  • Manage the day to day running of the care home
  • Promote and utilize person centred care plans and practices
  • Line manage a team of qualified support workers, senior support workers and a Deputy Manager
  • Promote and market the home to be able to take on new referrals
  • Build strong relationships in the local community along with local authorities, social workers, families and key stakeholders

  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management/NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care/Registered Manager's Award
  • Prior experience and track record of being registered with CQC as Registered Manager
  • Strong and demonstrable experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health diagnosis
