Currently requiring an experienced Registered Manager to lead a growing, family-run domiciliary service based in Bristol. Offering a salary up to £35,000 based on experience plus great benefits, including:

As Registered Manager, you would be joining a CQC rated "Good" home care provider that prides itself on providing exceptional care to children, young people and adults in the Bristol region. Your focus would be on delivering person-centred care to vulnerable individuals with a variety of complex needs including learning difficulties and physical disabilities. As Registered Manager, your role plays a vital part in the organisation's commitment to allowing individuals to maintain their independence by living in their own homes without compromising on the quality of the care they receive.

This provider places great emphasis on giving excellent care over profit-making. We therefore require a competent and motivated individual to implement effective management for their services to ensure care standards remain high.

The Registered Manager's responsibilities include

  • Efficiently managing the day-to-day smooth-running of the care service
  • Ensuring compliance with the requirements of CQC and other relevant governing bodies to maintain the quality of the services
  • Managing all aspects of the staff team and providing sound leadership and support to ensure staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities
  • Applying excellent communication skills with service users, their families and representatives, staff and other health and social care professionals
  • Attending external meetings and representing the service in a positive manner
  • Participating in the growth and development of the business
  • Managing the effective recruitment, induction and training of the care workers

The Registered Manager must have

  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care, ideally NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
  • Prior management experience within a care setting
  • Experience working within a domiciliary or home care service
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Full UK driving licence
