Exciting opportunity for an experienced Home Manager or Deputy Manager to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' 3 bed children's care home based in Nottingham as a Registered Manager.

This role is full time at 40 hours, Monday to Friday offering an extensive employee benefits package and a competitive salary of £35,000.

The ideal Registered Manager will have strong knowledge of Ofsted, safeguarding and young people along with a determination to raise the home from 'Good' to 'Outstanding'.

Your responsibilities as Registered Manager:

  • Successfully register with Ofsted by passing the fit persons interview
  • Line manage a team of qualified children's support workers
  • Ensure all residents are safeguarded
  • Lead the home thorough all Ofsted inspections and achieve minimum 'Good'

Requirements of the Registered Manager:

  • QCF Leadership and Management Level 5 / Registered Manager's Award / NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care
  • Significant experience in children's homes
  • High level knowledge of Ofsted, young people and safeguarding
