Exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Manager, Regional Manager or multi-site Registered Manager to join one of the UK's most renowned providers who support vulnerable children and young people.

As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, management and direction of a portfolio of residential children's homes that care for vulnerable young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties. You will support Registered Managers in each of your homes to achieve the highest levels of care in line with the care provider's minimum standards whilst striving to offer exceptional levels of support to the young people in their care.

The ideal Regional Manager will have strong knowledge of Ofsted, safeguarding and young people along with senior management experience, managing Registered Manager's, budget and financial acumen.

Responsibilities of the Registered Manager include:

  • Successfully register with Ofsted as Responsible Individual
  • Line manage a team of experienced Registered Children's Home Managers
  • Managing the regional budget and ensuring all homes in line with company policies
  • Take the lead and support the homes through all Ofsted inspections and achieve minimum 'Good'

Requirements of the Registered Manager include:

  • QCF Leadership and Management Level 5 / Registered Manager's Award / NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care
  • Significant managerial experience in children's homes
  • Multisite management and managing Registered Manager's experience
  • High-level knowledge of Ofsted, young people and safeguarding
