Practice Manager

A re-shaped East London based Local Authority is looking for a Practice Manager to join their mental health community recovery service. As the Practice Manager, you will help the local authority deliver positive outcomes for adult social care users, their carers and families.

This role is full-time, and permanent position and you are required to have vast experience in mental health. You will need to be committed and have the drive to match this developing Local Authority

Your responsibilities as the Practice Manager:

• Provide support to a team of mental health Social Workers, Nurses and Occupational Therapists.
• Lead in supporting the Social Workers in the team, providing them with regular supervision and line management
• Completing Care Act assessments, arranging CPA meetings, preparing Social Circumstances Reports, attending Mental Health Review Tribunal hearings, completing Mental Capacity Act Assessments, and supporting people

Requirements of you as the Practice Manager:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid HCPC registration
• Significant experience of working within Mental Health
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: East London

Salary: up to £48,000
