Post Adoption Support Social Worker

A Children's Charity is looking for an Adoption Social Worker for their Post Adoption Support service. This role is a part time (3 days per week) position with at least 1 day in the office and the rest at home/some visits (mostly phone/virtual work).

Duties and Responsibilities for you as the Adoption Social Worker:

• Working with Adult Adoptees, Birth Parents and those involved in the Adoption process
• Therapeutic Practice
• Working with surrounding Local Authorities

Requirements for you as the Adoption Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)
• Registered with SSSC
• Experience of working within an Adoption service or a closely linked Children's Social Work team
• An excellent working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care and Adoption

Location: Glasgow (Scotland)

Salary: Up to £40,071 pro rata & benefits
