Bromley Council is seeking an experienced Operational Manager to join their Youth Offending Service on a locum basis.

This is a pivotal role in a highly ambitious service that has been recently re-developed to provide forward-thinking solutions as part of the Council's ongoing commitment to service excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team with line management responsibilities for specified staff, in line with Local Authority supervision policies. This will include appraisals,
    management of sickness and promoting individual development
  • First point of contact for Practitioners to advise on operational guidance
  • Allocate work, monitor workloads and be responsible for case closures and transfer of cases In and Out of the Borough

What you need

  • HCPC Registration
  • Professional Social Work Qualification
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Previous experience in managing staff
