Locum Social Worker - Family Support

London Borough of Bexley is looking for a Social Worker to join their Family Support and Child Protection Team.

This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in a Child Protection, Children in Need or Children in Care Team.

Your responsibilities as a FSCP Social Worker:

• Experience within a Children in Need, Child Protection or Looked After Children Team
• Section 17 Single Assessments
• Section 47 Child Protection Investigations
• Working with children subject to CIN Plans, CP Plans and CLA.
• Experience preparing reports for meetings, i.e. CP Conference, strategy meetings, CIC Reviews, CIN meetings, and court proceedings.
• To comply with legislation, statutory guidance and local policies and procedures

Requirements of you as a FSCP Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of work within CIN, CP or CLA/LAC
• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is required

Location: Bexley, London

Umbrella pay rate: £38.00
