A rapidly growing Charity is looking for a passionate Learning Support Worker to join their brand new, purpose-built specialist day centre for adults with Autism.

This is an encouraging and exciting environment in which adults and young adults are assisted to develop life skills and obtain knowledge that will advance their independence and integrate into the community.

As Learning Support Worker, you will work Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm and earn a starting salary of £15,972. You'll have the potential to increase your salary to £17,000 within the first 3 months and then to £18,500 with a 2-year period through training and qualifications.

As Learning Support Worker, you will assist in the development of adults with Autism by facilitating decision making, promoting independence, and encouraging individuals to engage educational, social and employment opportunities.

Requirements of you as the Learning Support Worker:

  • Experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism
  • 5 GCSE's with minimum Grade C/ level 4 or equivalent, including Maths and English Language
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Personal care is a requirement of this position

Salary: £15,972 per annum
