A Gloucester based Local Authority is looking for a Fostering Team Manager to join their Local Authority. As the Team Manager, you will be able to demonstrate what excellent social work practice is, together with sound safeguarding knowledge. This role is a full-time, permanent position.

As the ideal Social Worker will have Fostering and Permanence experience within a local Authority or Private organisation. Whilst this is a busy team in a developing local authority, there is opportunities with great training and development programmes.

Your responsibilities as the Team Manager:

  • Delivering services to children and young people
  • Caseload oversight, including auditing of cases
  • Managing caseload allocations
  • Offer reflective supervision and support the professional development of your team

Requirements of you as the Team Manager:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • A valid HCPC registration
  • Experience of working within Fostering Team
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: Gloucester

Salary: Up to £50,000
