Derbyshire County Council is currently looking for an experienced Fostering Social Worker to join their ambitious Children's Fostering team based in Derbyshire.

The role comes with a very competitive rate of £27/hr with room for negotiation based on experience and interview.

Responsibilities of the fostering social worker:

  • To provide social work for all groups within the community.
  • To provide statutory intervention and other work with children, young persons and their families, with supervision by the Service Manager.
  • To provide social work support to Children Looked After.
  • To assess potential foster carers and adoptive carers

Requirements for this advanced social worker role:

  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
  • HCPC Registered
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Social Work Qualification
