The London Borough of Waltham Forest is looking for a Deputy Team Manager to join their Safeguarding team. This is a Locum Social Work role.
The ideal Deputy Team Manager will have recent experience in a Safeguarding environment with some management experience also. The key to success in this role is to be able to work confidently from the beginning of the contract with little supervision

Your responsibilities as a Safeguarding Deputy Team Manager:
- Ability to support and provide advice to Social Workers in the team when needed
- Manage a complex caseload
- Aid in the formulation of care plans for children and families
- Be a part of supervisory meetings to ensure high level practice is carried out throughout the team
Requirements of you as a Safeguarding Deputy Team Manager:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
- A valid Social Work England registration
- Have competent knowledge and experience of Safeguarding work
Location: Waltham Forest, London
Pay rate: £37.83 per hour
