Deputy Manager required for an established and expanding supported living service for adults with learning disabilities and mental health diagnosis in Gloucester. Great employer, provider and progression opportunities.

My client are a leading local provider of care and support for adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. They have built a strong reputation within the local area and are expanding their client numbers

Your main responsibilities are to:

  • Deputise in the absence of the Service Manager
  • Assist with the day to day running of the supported living service
  • Ensure all staff are working to best practice and company policy
  • Line manage a team of Senior Support Workers and Support Workers
  • Promote person centred care plans in line with the organisation's ethos
  • Ensure all staff understand and work towards CQC regulations

The successful candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker within a CQC regulated supported living service
  • Strong knowledge and passion for working with vulnerable adults, learning disabilities and mental health
  • Driving License and Vehicle due to on call duties
