Fantastic opportunity to join the management team within a growing supported living service based in Gloucestershire. Offering a salary up to £21,000+ sleep-ins (circa £3,000).

My client is an expanding organisation who provide care and support to adults with learning disabilities and associated mental health conditions.

Due to the rapid growth of the supported living service, my client requires new Deputy Managers across the region.

The Deputy Manager's responsibilities are

  • Managing the performance of the staff and the service overall
  • Ensure each service user has their own individual support plans
  • Act up in the absence of the service manager
  • Undertake regular staff supervision
  • Mentoring and training junior staff
  • Liaise with local authorities, social workers, families and external agencies

The Deputy Manager must have

  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
  • Minimum 2 years managerial experience in any care setting
  • Staff supervision and shift leading experience
  • A passion for working with learning disabilities and mental health
  • Willingness to take part in the On-Call rota
  • Driving licence required

Please note this role will involve on-call duties and working on shifts including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins (1-2 per week, £30 per sleep-in on top of basic salary).

This role would suit existing Senior Support Workers or Team Leaders looking to increase their responsibilities within a care service dedicated to providing outstanding person-centred care and employee progression.
