Deputy Manager required for an Ofsted 'Outstanding' children's home based in Oxfordshire with a leading care provider for young people. Fantastic salary with extensive benefits package.

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager or Team Leader within residential children's homes to join a unit for 7 adolescent females with a variety of behaviours and challenges.

The home is rated as Outstanding and is set in a beautiful rural Oxfordshire setting. This is a great role for someone who is looking to progress their career with a leading provider.

As Deputy Manager, you will receive

The Deputy Manager's main responsibilities are to

  • Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
  • Line manage a qualified team of support workers, senior's and team leaders
  • Ensure the home runs in accordance to Ofsted, children's home and safeguarding legislation
  • Deliver high quality and individualised care to young people
  • Promote emotional, physical and mental wellbeing for all young people
  • Complete managerial paperwork and administration

To be considered, you must have

  • NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare/Children and Young People
  • Prior experience within a residential children's home in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • Driving License and vehicle
  • Flexibility to work an alternate week shift pattern
